I'm obsessed, but I'm not THAT obsessed.
So as I have been grazing through facebook for the past few weeks I've noticed a lot of statuses being posted about the new Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie that actually came out tonight at 12:00! People have posted countdowns, and how excited they are for the movie to come out. I admit, I did post one today saying "I wish I knew when I could see Eclipse". Meaning I don't know when I can see it because I would really like for Jeremy to go with me but he works a lot so when we can so in uncertain. I told him I would buy our tickets and he said ok! I was like...THAT was easier than expected! So when the movie New Moon was released on DVD earlier this year, we went to Walmart expecting to walk in there casually, buy the movie and leave. Little did I know that they were having a release party in the electronics section of Walmart with cake, and "blood" to drink (Hawaiian punch) included. I was thinking WOW. We decided to stand in line until 12:00. As we were standing in line, there was a woman at LEAST 60 years of age that was decked out in twilight t-shirt, acting as if she were 13. Hopping around talking about how "hott" Jacob was. For an hour and a half of hearing her talk crap about my man Edward they finally passed out the DVDs and LUCKILY, I was the 19th person in line, and the first like 23 people got a water bottle, posters, and all kinds of goodies. Of course the old lady behind me was about to pass out because she was super pumped about getting these things and not to mention, she just so happened to get a peice of cake with Jacobs face on it. Guess it was her lucky day. Any who! Hopefully I will get to see it soon!!
Night night!!!
Summer Showers Bring Sunflowers!!!!
Todayyy, Parker and I went to a sunflower field and attempted to take pictures. Lets just say next time we plan on going to a sunflower field, we're going to shower in bug spray! Mosquito's were all UP in the flowers so I said bump this and we moved on to just taking pictures in the middle of the dirt road which leads to the ginormous field of beautiful sunflowers, in which I LONG to see all year long because the sunflower is my favorite flower! Just looking at them makes me smile! I remember when I was small, planting sunflower seeds every year and measuring them and watching them grow taller than me! That was back in the day when I was carefree and would dig in the dirt find worms and play with them. GROSS! And now one of my worst fears is worms. The things we did as kids. Me and some of my neighbors had some wild imaginations. Our houses were in front of/ or behind a wooded area and we would go back there and play. There was a tire swing and we always made "soup" in a sand bucket which consisted of grass, water from the water hose, those green tall weeds that smell like onions and whatever else we could find, stirred it with a stick and tried to make people eat it. The times in my life where I would stay outside in the summertime until I heard mom yelling my name from across the neighborhood saying "Time to come home", chasing the popsicle man, catching lightening bugs in jars and having countless wrecks on my bike was PRICELESS. Those days were so easy. Then I grew up...and its a whole different world. I wish I could go back to when I was a kid!
A little about me.
Hey Hey! I'm Allison, everyone calls me Alli! I am new to this blogging thing and I'm super pumped to write about and share pics on happenings in my life! I am 20 years old, and a mommy to an almost 3 year old little boy whose name is Parker Lee Highfield. He is my life! Parker has the best personality EVER and his BIG blue eyes always catch peoples attention! He is a very outgoing, bubbly child and will talk to anyone! "He never meets a stranger!" As of now I have a part-time job. I plan on starting school next January for Massage Therapy. I stay at home with Parker every day and I love it!
I reside in the LOVELY, (not), drama-filled town of Muscle Shoals Alabama. Living in this town, life is definitely not boring for anybody, but I have no choice but to live here considering that my parents help me with Parker! I am obsessed with photography. I love taking pictures and editing them on photoshop. My camera is one of my most prized possessions. Ha! I enjoy scrapbooking as well, although I am quite behind right now. If I had a whole weekend to myself, with all the supplies I needed, I could be caught up, but having a whole weekend to myself rarely happens! I have a half brother, Micah who is 31 or 32 and a half sister, Courtney who is 28. They are both happily married! My brother and his wife have a 9 year old son named Hunter and he is hilarious! I love spending time with him!
That is all for now!
Looking forward to sharing all the wonderful sometimes crazy moments in my life!
